Welcome

Welcome to my new site. So I finally figured out the whole blog thing here after many hours of frustration. Now I join the ranks of millions of other people working on an online journal.
I am sure that there is a way to import the entries from there, but I don’t really feel like trying to figure that out.
My last entry there was from August of this year. I don’t know if I could say that a lot has happened since then.
My sister came and visited me for a couple of days in September before I had my mino surgery to remove a polyp in my woman chamber. That was nice. I hadn’t seen her in a couple of years. I got to show her a little bit of the city.
The surgery went well – I had no problems whatsoever – and the best part of it all was that I took the whole week off. I had been working out pretty regularly before the procedure, but my workouts became quite sporadic since then – which is quite a shame. I had been getting pretty strong – didn’t lose as much weight as I wanted, but I was starting to get a little buff.
I suppose I shall do the whole New Year Resolution thing and promise to work out with the New Year.
I haven’t really been doing much. I go to work, come home, cook, surf the web, maybe watch a video and then go to sleep – repeat every weekday. I haven’t been getting much knitting done – I pretty much just knit at work nowadays – which is great because it’s a great distraction from the callers.
My job – well – my job sucks. I still can’t believe I am still there – It just gets suckier and suckier. We are now required to sell services to people when they call in – so the company can make more money. We got an annoucement last week that they are cutting our break time to the legal minimum – 10 minutes for every 4 hours – right now they are giving us 15 minutes for every 4 hours. This job is stressful – 10 minutes is just not enough to calm yourself to handle the morons that call in – especially when any trip to the bathroom comes out of your break time.
Then we got another annoucement this week that instead of giving us holiday pay, they are just going to give us the paid time off – so we won’t get paid for holidays and we also won’t be getting the full 8 hours at once – it will be accrued like our regular time off – so they are fucking with us that way too. I don’t know how much longer I can deal with it.
Oooooof. It’s 3am now – 3 am eternal.
