Tonight, I did Start It Up from Slim in Six. I really didn’t feel like working out tonight. I was tired, but since I didn’t workout yesterday, I felt that I really needed to do something, even if it was a short workout.
This workout is basically about 20 minutes of lunges and squats. I wonder if I am going to be feeling this tomorrow or not since I am sooo freaking out of shape. After all of those lunges and squats, there is a short set of push ups and some ab work. The Slim in Six program was designed so that you would do this DVD for about 1 or 2 weeks, then move up to the next one and then move up from that to the third workout. You are supposed to do the workouts 6 days a week for 6 weeks, but how anyone can get through that is beyond me. I like them, but I do find them boring and a little hard to get through because the music doesn’t sync up to the workout.
Always something, isn’t there?

Air America Radio Files for Chapter 11.
Sigh, like the title says, Air America Radio filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy today, well I guess by now, yesterday. I wonder what is going to happen to the network.
I used to listen to Air America all of the time when they first launched and couldn’t get enough of it for awhile. I was so happy that progressive talked radio finally arrived and that they were totally going to stick it to all of those conservative personalities.
But, I kind of got tired of them after the 2004 elections since well, Bush got re-elected and the Republicans were still in control of Congress. I just felt like even though these voices of opposition were out there, it still didn’t make much of a difference. I would find myself turning the dial to NPR more and more to get my news in the mornings and afternoons until I would just listen to NPR pretty much exclusively again.
I really liked Mark and Mark in the mornings though - but I would just get so annoyed at Randi Rhodes. She just has a voice that makes me want to bitch slap her.
I hope Air America comes out of bankruptcy okay, but I am not getting my hopes up.
