Army Strong - Army Smash!

According to sources, the Army Times is about to run an astonishing editorial, openly calling for Rumsfeld to resign mere days before an election. That’s how desperate the military now is.

Of course, this is also being released the day before Saddam Hussein’s verdict which many predict is going to lead to an all out civil war in Iraq. Of course, the President has stated that he will be sticking by Rumsfeld no matter what happens.

Bush had been told of the editorial, White House spokesman Tony Snow said. “His reaction was just to shrug it off,” he said. “He understands what editorial writers sometimes do, and in this case they’re grandstanding.”
So far, the US has allocated $315 Billion - yea, $315 BILLION, for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The amount is also set to reach $378 Billion by March 2007. I don’t know how this country can afford this. Well, at least I am currently living in an area where I can grow vegetables year round, so if the depression hits, I should still be able to live off the land.
