I Hate Women’s Clothing
I really do hate women’s clothing or more specifically the lack of any type of standards when it comes to sizing.
I have a few pairs of pants that I bought recently - I hate to admit it, but they are the largest size I have ever gotten. They fit me fine when I first got them before I started working. I suppose I’ve lost some weight though since they are now looser.
But, it’s still really annoying. I bought 2 pairs of pants - same size, different color. I am almost at the point where I can just slip one pair of pants off without unzipping them. The second pair, which is supposed to be the same size as the first one, still feels a tiny bit tight. Both pants were made by the same company too. I literally just picked two pairs off of the rack with the same size, different color.
I figured I might as well try on a pair of jeans that I’ve had, which got to be, ahem, too small on me, since that one pair of pants was getting pretty loose. I tried the jeans on - they fit perfectly and they are 2 sizes smaller than the other pants I have been wearing. What the heck? So a pair of pants 2 sizes bigger is a little tight, but something else 2 sizes smaller fits perfectly fine? How the heck does this happen? Grrrrrr.
I really hate buying clothes because of this lack of standard in sizing. I hate that I have to grab a whole size range to see what might fit because none of these companies will come together to just say that if your waist is x inches, you are a size y. I mean, I am not complaining that I have lost weight so I can wear a smaller size, I am complaining that a woman can never really know what size she is because of the lack of standard.
I guess I shall try some other pairs of old pants I have on now to see if they might fit.
