And Another Thing…..

This is really stupid, but I have been wondering if I should purchase a treadmill. It’s just stupid though since 1) I have a gym membership and 2) my cousin’s downstairs have a treadmill I can use. But it’s been really bugging me a lot this last few days.
I need to start walking again - but I know I just don’t feel comfortable walking on a treadmill in a gym because of my size. Yea, I am sure no one really cares, but I do! Plus, if I had one at home, I could walk at all hours of the night and not have to worry that I was bothering my cousins or waste 30 to 45 minutes on travel time by having to drive to and from the gym just to exercise.
But at the same time, I don’t want to get such a large piece of equipment because I still have this notion in my head that I am going to be moving to the mainland soon - even though I am pretty sure that is not going to be happening anytime soon. But I do think about it and think about what a hassle it would be to try to sell off a treadmill if I do move.
I mean, I am kind of sort of okay with living in Honolulu for now. I just hate living with my Mom since I have a severe lack of privacy. As kind of a tangent, I am also thinking about ripping out the carpet we have now and getting some kind of non carpet floor put it, but, I seriously wonder if that is an expense I am willing to take care when I don’t know how much longer I am going to be living here. I also seriously need a new mattress, but again, I don’t know if I want to spend that money on something like that if I am going to be moving in the next year or so. Uggghhhh, so much uncertainty in my life.
I also need to get new workout shoes - badly. My feet really hurt a lot when I try to walk in the shoes I have now. It’s understandable though - I’ve been using these shoes for like 4 years now. Whoops.
There are quite a few treadmills that are really reasonably priced nowadays too. I think I will go to Sports Authority after work tomorrow since they are having a sale on shoes right now. Plus, I also saw that they have kettlebells for sale! Yay!
